聽寫：找出聽力斷掉的地方

Turn‿it‿off and put‿it‿away.

聽起來像「tur-ni-toff-en-pu-di-da-way」。put it 的 t 夾在母音中間，美式發音會變得像輕輕的 d。

Pick‿it‿up and look‿at‿it.

六個字黏成兩串：「pi-ki-dup」、「loo-ka-dit」。it 和 at 都很短很輕。

an octopus 聽起來像「a-noctopus」，eight arms 像「eigh-tarms」。

Find‿out‿as much‿as you can.

find out as 黏成「fin-dou-das」。as 和 can 是虛詞，唸得很輕：can 在句尾唸成 /kən/。

of 弱讀成 /əv/，some of 聽起來像「sum-uv」；them 常弱讀成 /ðəm/ 甚至 /əm/；can 唸成 /kən/；for 唸成 /fər/。真正唸清楚的只有 some、live、long、time。

one of the 聽起來像「wu-nuv-thə」。fastest animals 的 t 常常被吞掉，像「fas-tes-animals」。

him 的 h 在句子中間常常不唸，tell him 聽起來像「tell-im」。hour 的 h 本來就不發音，所以前面用 an，in an hour 黏成「i-na-nour」。

Bees tell‿each‿other where the flowers‿are.

tell each other 黏成「te-lee-chuther」。句尾的 are 很輕，容易漏掉。

真人常說成 I'm gonna watch‿a video‿about sharks.

going to 表示「打算」時，口語常縮成 gonna。聽寫時寫 going to 或 gonna 都算對，但自己寫作文要寫 going to。

真人常說成 D'you wanna come with‿us?

do you 縮成「d'ya」，want to 縮成 wanna。整句只有 want 和 come 比較清楚。

真人常說成 Didja ged‿enough sleep las(t) night?

did you 的 d 和 y 合起來變成「ja」；get enough 的 t 變成輕輕的 d；last night 兩個 t 碰在一起，前面的 t 幾乎不唸。

真人常說成 A lodda wader turned‿into‿ice.

a lot of 聽起來像「a-lodda」，water 像「wa-der」，這兩個 t 都變成輕輕的 d。

真人常說成 I dunno whad‿id‿is.

don't know 常縮成 dunno；what it is 的兩個 t 都變成輕輕的 d，聽起來像「wa-di-dis」。
